Hi,

maybe another Java based application is running, which uses another JRE (e.g. Eclipse...).
Try to close all Java based applications except the one you are testing.

hi,

There are no other java applications running. I am running only one Java swing application.

I have no problem in recognizing java UI elements Ranorex working fine but i am getting this warning in the report. Is there any way to remove that warning at least from report.

I also checked these files: JavaHelper32.dll, RanorexAutomation.jar, accessibility.properties are also in their corresponding folders and i am using Java 6.

Thanks.

Hi,

basically you can disable the warning by choosing "Do not show again" in Technology instrumentation during Recording.

If you want to reset this option, you can do this by pressing the "'Reset not shown technology specific limitations'" button in general settings.

I'm having the same issue.

I have several installed products that we use for development that run on their own version of Java (Oracle, IBM Websphere, etc.).

I don't want to get warnings on the runtimes I am not testing on.

How do I get the system to only worry about instrumentation on just the JRE we are running the application under test on?

I'm thinking that you guys should add a Blacklist/Whitelist feature to the instrumentation warning system that allows the user to specify whole sets of areas to not warn (or specifically warn) about.

I want to be able to see ONLY the warnings about the JRE I am testing against, not all the others.

I do wish that these companies would stop re-packaging Java and just use the one you specify...
Shortcuts usually aren't...

Hello,

It is unfortunately not possible to restrict the instrumentation for the actually tested application. I will discuss this feature internally with our developers if it is possible to realize it.
Thank you for the suggestion.
