JIRA integration regarding requirement tracebility

Hi,

I have found that there is the JIRA integration, allowing to interact with issues etc in Jira from Ranorex.

I was wondering, whether there is also an integration starting more in front of the automated tests. This means, is it possible to link test cases with JIRA Ids, representing requirements ?

Somehow a system that allows me to answer the following question:

- Which requirements have what test cases.
- What are the execution results for the test cases for requirement X.
- What is the test coverage for the requrirements of a feature

etc etc

Is something like this possible or planned ?

The features mentioned in our Jira/Ranorex blog post outline all of the current implemented capabilities of this integration. At this time there are not any plans to improve on this integration as there has not been any request to do so.

I recommend creating a new feature request on our User Voice platform as I can see these being great additions to our current integration. It means more when the request comes from you directly than from me.

If you are feeling ambitious or need this feature sooner than later, check out Jira's extensive API which may allow you to implement these functions via code modules in your own Ranorex solution.

We use JIRA w/Synapse RT (the Testing Module).

Link Ranorex to Test Cases linked to Requirements. The Synapse Traceability feature is a snap to run and displays all needed data.
