License Manager Version

Hi everyone!

I have a License Manager v5.4.3 and I would like use Ranorex Studio v7.0.

I installed Ranorex v7.0, but when I launch Ranorex Studio I get the error "The License Manager was contacted, but not suitable license was available." (I have verified that the licenses have free status).

Should I need to update the License Manager version? Where can I get the installer link?

Hi,

I'm afraid, that if your last purchased license is for 5.4.3, it's most certainly expired. Which means, you cannot use it with 7.0. Please check this page about Ranorex license renewal costs... http://www.ranorex.com/pricing/renewal.html
In a meantime, you should be able to use Ranorex 7 in Trial mode.

The license manager for Ranorex 5 is NOT compatible with Ranorex 7. You need to upgrade to the new license manager.

As Pavel said, if your license is not CURRENT, then you won't be able to use 7, regardless of which license server version you are using.
