LineageGlueRule netstandard error .net 4.6.2

Post by AviatorFly » Tue Feb 18, 2020 2:55 pm

While running my automation code I get the error:
LineageGlueRule 'winforms_core' caused FileNotFoundException on Execute. Could not load file or assembly 'netstandard, Version=2.0.0.0

I have ranorex suite installed on a windows 7 machine with .net framework 4.6.2

See attached screenshot of error.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure there are installed all requirements from this list:
https://www.ranorex.com/help/latest/ran ... uirements/
Eventually, try to reinstall all these libs. It may be possible that some of the libs are corrupted?
Also, have you receiving this error on another computer?

Hi odklizec,

I installed the following updates for Win 7 today:

KB4490628
KB4474419
KB4538483
KB4537820 -> Win 7 Feb 2020 Rollup update

and then I tried again and I still got the error. Below is a screenshot of the windows updates I have installed.

I have .net framework 4.6.2 installed as well. This problem shows up whenever I ran my tests in Ranorex 9.2.

This is the only machine I have with windows 7 so I have not tried on other win7 machines.

Anything else I can try?

Thanks

R
