Hi,
I have started evaluating your product. I want to log on to a website and download an excel worksheet using a vb program, I don't know where to start. I can do this successfully by 'record' and 'play' using the tool.
Thanks

Re: Login from VB.net
Hi and welcome here,
Starting with Recorder is OK. Ranorex recorded works quite well and it can save a lot of time, even for very experienced users, who usually code their tests
Anyway, I would suggest to check these screencasts...
http://www.ranorex.com/support/screencasts.html
These should help you to understand the basics.
Then read the User Guide and try the individual lessons from the user guide.
http://www.ranorex.com/support/user-guide-20.html
And there are also free webinars...

If you cannot or don't want to wait for the next one, I believe there are some older webinars available at youtube?

Re: Login from VB.net
Ah sorry. From your initial post I mistakenly thought you are working with VB .Net code directly in Ranorex? I'm afraid, I can't help you with VS VB .NET integration.
Have you tried the VS integration steps from this post?
http://www.ranorex.com/support/user-gui ... ation.html
If they does not work for you, then I would suggest to contact Ranorex support at [email protected].
