Hi all,
I am using Ranorex for App testing.
When I add a new recording module, the module takes sometimes a mobile symbol and sometime a normal recording symbol. as you can see in the picture.
When I click in RECORD button in the App recording module, it open the window "Create a mobile test". (OK)
but when I click RECORD button in the normal recording module, it open a normal recording for a desktop.
How can I make all modules as mobile modules? and why they take randomly the type of module?
Thank you in advance for your support.
Regards,
Ahmad

Re: Mobile and desktop recording modules
Hi,
You can change the type of recording in Recording settings. Just open the recording module, you most probably created manually, and in its settings go to Current Recording tab. Here you can find option Recorder UI mode, in which you can select "Mobile" mode. This will change Recording's icon to "mobile" and also remove desktop-based commands from the list of available actions. By default, manually created recording modules are created as Global, where both mobile and desktop commands are available. Hope this helps?
