Hi there,
In reviewing the features for mobile testing, it understandably seems it is geared mostly for native apps. The mobile web browsing feature, RxBrowser, would seem the way to go with responsive web page recordings for mobile testing. However; right off it seems that scripts that are authored on WindowsPC & Chrome not able to be played back on the RxBrowser, and that only the recordings from the RxBrowser can be played on the RxBrowser.
Just attempting to keep from having 2 or more sets of scripts if it's all doing the same thing across different devices.
Alternatively, I can possibly use the Firefox plugins that emulate the devices, but I am not certain of the best methods here.
Web Application: IE/Safari/Chrome support
Mobile: IOS/Android
Existing Ranorex Solution... wanting to run against mobile browsing
Would appreciate any insight into this....
thanks,
jon

Re: Mobile RxBrower & Legacy PC Browser Scripts
Hi coroner71,
Currently, it’s not possible to record a test on your pc for replaying it on your mobile devices without adapting the RxPaths. We are working on a solution for our future releases in order to enable this possibility.
For now, I would suggest directly recording the test using our RxBrowser.
Regards,
Robert
