Hi,
Below is Actual Scenario :
We have manual test cases with test steps defined in TFS and we can run those test cases manually.
We need to update the result(pass or fail) for each step manually.
Expected:
Is it possible that ranorex execution start while running test case manually through TFS and result gets updated(or report gets attached) for each run.
Regards,
Shakib
Need to execute ranorex exe through test cases defined in TFS
Re: Need to execute ranorex exe through test cases defined in TFS
Hi,
In the past, there was a blog post describing the process of integration of Ranorex with MTM and TFS. According to support, the guide was obsolete and therefore temporarily removed from the Ranorex web. It's now scheduled to rewrite. Unfortunately, there is no ETA for update guide. But as far as I remember, there was no option to run tests from TFS based of the individual TFS tests steps?
Anyway, I would recommend you to contact directly Ranorex support (via their support form). They may already have something for you, eventually, you may help them to improve the guide with your specific scenario.
