We are new to Ranorex and new to Automated testing in general. We use a lot of “in-house” design and built software. One thing we cannot figure out is how to get Ranorex to validate if a field is Read Only. We are using Ranorex 8.3

Hi,
Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell how to do it, without evaluating the element. Please upload a Ranorex snapshot (NOT screenshot) of the problematic field. Generally speaking, it chould be doable via “enabled” attribute. But as mentioned, it’s hard to tell exactly, without seeing the element (its snapshot).
