Hi,

As far as I know, WebView should be supported by Ranorex. Could you please create (via Ranorex Spy) a Ranorex snapshot of the app under test and post it here?

Hi,

The snapshot you posted, is taken with Ranorex 9.4.1 and it also complains, that the iPhone, the app is running on, runs service app 3.2.1. Please update Ranorex on that machine and also update the service app on mobile device. Also, make sure the app is instrumented with most recent Ranorex version.

Hi,

Here's the latest snapshot.

The app was instrumented with libRxAutomationUni 3.2.2 and the Rx Service App is also of the same version( RxServiceApp Distributable 3.2.2 ).

Ranorex Version: 9.5.0 + git.7f26c5ff (downloaded from https://www.ranorex.com/download-archive/).

We are getting a warning of Version Incompatibility for the latest IPA that we have instrumented when trying to add new elements via recording but Ranorex Support has said that this warning should not cause any issues and can be safely ignored in most cases.

Hi,

So, if you are already in contact with support, it's better to solve this kind of issue with them. Technically, WebView should be supported on iOS? But I'm not sure if it's not supported only in RxBrowser? As far as I know, webs are automatizable only via RxBrowser, not Safari!
