Hi,
I guess relates to thread 4680 but I'm seeing very poor performance when running Ranorex tests via nUnit.
A simple Validate.AreEqual() check takes ~100ms in my VS C# IDE yet when running the test via the nUnit console it take >330ms.
I've tried fiddling with the nUnit settings making the test run in a separate process but no joy. I also have
[TestFixture, RequiresSTA] set in my nUnit test which I've read elsewhere may help.
Other people must have seen this?
Thanks in advance.

Re: nUnit & Ranorex Slowness - HELP?
Hello brgibb,
This may have several reasons.
We unfortunately don't work with NUnit so we may be of little help.
But which NUnit version are you using? I suggest using the latest one since they fixed some issues regarding performance.
Regards,
Robert

Re: nUnit & Ranorex Slowness - HELP?
Funnily enough I upgraded to 2.6.3 and saw the performance to be slightly slower than it was with 2.6.2.
Like I say I can't believe others haven't seen this.

Well, may I ask you to answer following questions:
- Which Ranorex version do you currently use?
Do you operate on a x32 or x64 bit system?
Which .NET version are you currently using?

Hello brgibb,
I talked to your QA team, but unfortunately this issue isn't related to Ranorex.
I hope you can find a solution or a workaround for your problem.
Please understand that we cannot provide support for another vendor’s software.
Thank you for your understanding.
