Hi, everyone,
I'm developing tests on my windows box then running them on a remote VMWare windows instance.
Some validations and clicks are failing; I'm noticing action spot problems, such as the error saying the click area is outside the scope of the window. Do you have develop and run on exactly the same box?
For example:
Dev
Runtime
What about if you have a laptop for travel and you want to work on the development of tests? The sizes are different also. Can you manually update the values? If so, which ones?
Thanks for your help.
Object Action Spots - using different dev and runtime boxes
Re: Object Action Spots - using different dev and runtime boxes
Hi,
I think the best solution of this issue, is setting Action Spot to Center in each already recorded action. And for future, you can set Ranorex to record all new actions with 'Center' action spot, by switching Coordinate recording mode from 'Pixel' (default value) to 'None'. Hope this helps?
