Hi,
If I copy my report folder to PC without Ranorex, should it open the *.rxlog with IE?
I have a custom template in use and CustomStyleSheet.xls is also in the folder.
Or do I need to change the report format to *.html before I run the test cases?
Thank you for your help!
Open report with IE
Re: Open report with IE
To overcome this requirement simply change the extension form “*.rxlog” to “*.html” in the Test Suites properties pane.
Change Report Extendion To HTML
After that, you will be able to open the generated report file using any common browser as well as compress all files necessary for reporting and attach them to an email.
So I should change the setting before running any test?

Re: Open report with IE
Hi SanMan,
Yes, this setting needs to be changed for each test suite if a HTML report is needed. The test suite properties are saved so this setting needs to be changed only once.
Another way to view to report on machines without having Ranorex installed would be to convert the report to a PDF file as described under the following link: https://www.ranorex.com/blog/ranorex-re ... onversion/
