Hi,
I encounter a weird issue on my VM. I open my website (http://www.ldlc.com) on Chrome 36.0.1985.125
I can click on 2-3 links and after I have a freeze of the tab + a message telling me that the plug-in Shockwave Flash is not responding. Thus I have to close the specific tab.
I don't have this problem on Firefox and IE...
And the most wierd thing: it happens on my VM but not on my real Windows!
It's a VM with Windows 7 Pro x64 with Ranorex 5.1.1
Do you have any idea what could be the problem?
I tried to uninstall and reinstall Ranorex / Chrome but it's still the same.

Re: Plug-in "Shockwave Flash" not responding
Does the same thing happen when you aren't running a test?
Does it happen after disabling the Ranorex extension in Chrome?
You said the problem is in Chrome 36, but then said you didn't have the problem in FF or Chrome... Did you mean you didn't have the problem in FF and IE?
If you can reproduce the issue with the Ranorex extension disabled and while you aren't running a test, then it most likely isn't a Ranorex issue and you would need to seek help from the developers of the page.

Yes you're right, I meant "Firefox and IE".
This problem does not happen when the Ranorex extension is disabled, that's why I guess it is a Ranorex issue.
If i am not running a test but I have nevertheless the extension enabled, i am stucked after 2-3 clicks, showckwave issue.

Hello Florian,
Unfortunately, we are not able to reproduce this issue on our side. I would suggest a clean re-install of Ranorex:
After that instrument Google Chrome again. If the issue still persists please send an email to [email protected]

Re: Plug-in "Shockwave Flash" not responding
Sorry for the delay.
I tried to uninstall Ranorex 5.0.1, reboot the VM and install Ranorex 5.0.3
I unsinstall Adobe Flash but it is still the same.
Thus I wrote chrome://plugins in the URL bar and disabled "Adobe Flash Player" plug-in. Now it works well!
I hope I will not need it for now.
But it is strange.
