Hi,
I'm having some trouble using Ranorex. I developed a group of test cases under Ranorex 6.0.1. But today I upgraded to Ranorex 6.0.2 and those same test cases aren't working anymore. I found out that in the v6.0.2 of Ranorex, the SpyTool is identifying the same controllers with different paths and that's why it fails to run the tests.
Can you please help me regarding this issue, cause I don't find very practical to re-identify every single controller/button every time Ranorex updates the software.
Hope to get an answer soon, thank you very much.
Best regards,
Xibinki

Re: Problem identifying controllers with new version of Ranorex
Hi Xibinki,
There were no breaking changes in Ranorex 6.0.2 to the previous version. In order to analyze your issue, I would need a compressed Ranorex Report of the failed test execution and a Ranorex Snapshot of the application/web page.
If you automate a web page, please make sure that the corresponding browsers are instrumented correctly like described in our user guide.
Sincerely,
Johannes
