Problem with windows explorer

Post by Felmel » Mon Nov 18, 2013 8:26 am

I have a problem working with windows explorer.
Each time i track an elemnt it will work for 2-5 times followed by the warning:

Failed to load assemblies containing the definition of this control. UI element identification capabilities for this control are limited.

After some replays with succes it wont work again and the error messsage is:

No element found for path ...
The folder ... was not found.
Failed to find ...

I have this problem with every element in windows explorer. It will work for 2-5 times with an warning message and then it wont work again only if i track this element again.

Hello Felmel,

Unfortunately, I could not reproduce your issue on my system.

Which Windows and Ranorex version do you use?
Could you please post your report?
This would help us in analyzing your issue.

Thanks in advance.

I use Windows 7 on a virtual machine via remote dektop manager
Ranorex Version: Version 4.4.23593

First i get only the warning but will work.
After some runs i get the warning plus the error.

Hello,

Have you installed Ranorex with all prerequisites?
Could you please post a Ranorex Snapshot and a Report (*.rxlog and *.rxlog.data)?
Please take a look at our User Guide for more information on how to create snapshot files.

Thanks in advance.
