Hello dvd24,
It seems the DPI settings are not set to 100% on your remote machine. The settings might be updated with the values of your physical machine and are set back after closing the RDP connection. I'm afraid this is nothing that can be solved by Ranorex.
You can try if this also happens when using a VNC connection instead.

Have you tried connecting remotely using tools like logmein, R-HUB remote support servers, Teamviewer etc? Check it out by using these tools and see if the issue is resolved.
