Process CPU usage goes to 98% when object does not exist

Post by jlansang » Fri Nov 29, 2013 12:04 am

Hi,

In executing a Ranorex script over an application (runs on Win7), I encountered a problem where the process CPU usage goes to 98-99%. This happens when an object validation (exists) is done on an object that does not exist or is not visible (screen closed right beore the validation step). Evenwhen I close the RanorexStudio, the CPU usage does not change. Anyone experience this? Help is much appreciated.

Hello jlansang,

That sounds strange.
Please open the Windows Task Manager and check which process needs the most renounces of your CPU.
