Hi guys,
It appears that the Ranorex 8.0.1 installer does not update FF plugin? I had to update it manually via instrumentation wizard. And yes, I've tried both uninstalling previous version of Ranorex (7.2.1) as well as overwriting existing version. In both cases, FF plugin stayed in verison 1.0.33 and only after using instrumentation wizard, it updated to 1.0.40.

I added this issue to our internal bug-tracking system and our developers will take a look at it.
However, for everyone who is facing the same issue:
Please manually add the Firefox plugin by following these steps:
1. Navigate to the following folder on your machine: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ranorex 8.0\Ranorex Firefox Extension
2. Drag and drop the *.xpi file from this folder to an open Firefox window
3. Click "Add" in the following notification window in order to add the extension to Firefox

I have tried to resolve the issue by manually adding the extension in 8.0.1 and it does not work

Stephan - I attempted to go to "support.query but the trial license ID was not recognized.
