Hi,
I am using Ranorex version 5.05 trial version, in windows 7, IE11.
The issue I am facing is while trying to look for certain objects using Host.Local.TryFindSingle for example:
Host.Local.TryFindSingle ("/form[@title='message from webpage']",60000,out frm).
Ranorex failing to recognize this pop up, spying sometimes, and while executing it get stuck in the execution and never comes out though the timeout expires.
Is there any way I can get out of this infinite object search. Same thing happens when IE hangs, Ranorex never recovers.
Please help.

Hi,
Ranorex 5.0.5 is a pretty old (nearly 2 years old) and no longer supported version. Please try the latest 6.0 or previous 5.4.6, which are the only supported Ranorex versions.

Have you anything else open while running the test? Ranorex froze when running tests, in some older versions, when certain other programs (e.g. Windows Snipping Tool) were open,anniechaks wrote:...and while executing it get stuck in the execution and never comes out though the timeout expires...
