We are using Ranorex license server for floating licenses.
we have some problem with port 443 and it is always unstable.
we can't use default port 7266 because of some security concerns.
We realized that the port is not the issue but some network connectivity issue.
“We have to take into account that this is independent of the port used, this is just the way that network connectivity run between location 1 and location 2. It could be fine we need to check what is the time waited for Ranorex Client before to report a connectivity error with the Server, and if exist a way to customize that (for example, in the web applications you can change the time-out on the web.config file). Could you please let us know?”

Re: Ranorex License server issue
Hi smohanty78,
Unfortunately, the timeout cannot be changed because of security reasons.
I am not sure how many license keys your company have, but a workaround could be to split the license keys and install some keys in office 1 and the rest in office 2 in order to avoid network problems.
Regards,
Bernhard
