Hello,
first of all, I found the same topic already posted as a question. However it was 8 years ago and closed.

We are having the same issues, like these which are listed in the post above. Is it nowadays possible to operate linux applications in combination with Ranorex?
Our situation:
Our application where we would like to test the elements on screen is based on linux. It is a control unit with a display. We would like to automate the on-screen elements.
I read QT testing is possible with Ranorex. Is it possible to setup everything with QT on our linux based system and then operate with Ranorex?
If it is possible. Do we have to install an agent on the target? How would the communication work?
Thank you!
Kind regards

Re: Ranorex QT GUI Testing with an application based on linux
Hi,
I'm afraid, the answer is the same as in the past. Currently, Ranorex supports Windows (desktop and web) and Android/iOS apps. Linux is simply not supported. QT apps are supported, but only Windows-based apps.
BTW, there is already a feature request regarding Linux support, with comment from Ranorex team...
