Ranorex reports in PDF

Post by nielsverne » Mon May 04, 2015 3:43 pm

We controll our Ranorex from Access and because we don't really open Ranorex we wont see any Ranorex reports at the end. Is there a possability to email the results after every test to a certain email adres or safe it somewhere as a PDF file?

The report is generated at the very end of the test run and is an HTML file.

If you pass the command-line parameter "/rf:<ReportFileName>.html" it will be possible to view it in any browser. If you look at the User Guide, the following section talks about the command-line parameters available. (I would recommend you read the whole guide, there is a lot of helpful information in it.)

Note: You must allow local scripts in the browser or you won't be able to see it.

You can also host it on a web server so anyone can get to it.
