Post by Sandeep1632 » Fri May 08, 2020 8:08 am

Hi Team,

When I am trying to re track the elements for an application I am getting Ranorex technology limitation warning popup message.
Can some one help in fixing this or the reason why I am keep prompted with these warning pop up's
I have started 64 bit Ranorex and AUT both in Administrator mode to make sure both are having same privileges, but still I am getting this pop up.
Ranorex version: 9.3.1
Please find the attached screenshots for reference.

Thanks,
Sandeep

Hi,

I'm afraid, this kind of issue most probably cannot be solved without access to your app. Therefore, I would suggest you to contact Ranorex support and request a remote session with them, so they can check and analyze the problem directly on your machine.

All I can suggest right now is to follow the WinForm troubleshooting steps, available here:
https://www.ranorex.com/help/latest/int ... ETWinForms

And also check this interesting discussion regarding WinForms...

Also, make sure that your app under test is whitelisted in Ranorex and that all software requirements are met:

Also, try to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2 or 4.7.2 SDK. This often helps with recognition problems.
