I have an issue where Ranorex only correctly spies on all accessible objects on the first run after an installation. If I close out the Ranorex studio that starts after installation I can only track the parent items in my application when I restart Studio or Spy, children items do not appear as accessible. I've reinstalled Ranorex 3 times now and it consistently displays the same issue. I am running an application through Visual Studio 2005 ( Debug/Release mode both show the same symptoms ), on a Windows 7 machine with all the latest updates installed. I only see this issue when running the application through Visual Studio, installed versions of the application seem to work fine.
Thank you for any help.

Re: Ranorex Tracking only works on first run
Hi,
Are all Ranorex tools started as administrator?
Ranorex needs administrator privileges to track elements in your application. Also the target application should be started with administrator privileges.
Please try to start all needed executables as administrator.
