Recorded file can no longer be used after update to 7.1

Hi

I updated our solution from ranorex 7.01 to 7.1.
After this update i cannot open one of our recordings anymore.
I get the error message that the file is not at the expected place or i have no rights to access it.
I checked both and it should be fine.

I added the recording before the update and after the update.
I also uninstalled ranorex , restarted the pc and did a clean install of 7.1

Hi fleipold,

I would suggest pulling or even cloning your whole project again from your git server and see whether the issue still persists.
Does the issue also appear on some other machine?

I didn´t check it on another machine because i wanted to check any errors during the migration first on one machine before having all my colleges versions updated.
We also have some open integrations going on for 7.01 so that' s not a option for most of my team members

I also checked in the meantime if the problem is with the file itself or with part of its content. Its definitely the content causing the trouble. Because when i empty the file and try migrating its perfectly working.

Hello Fleipold,

Your issue seems to be related to a bug within Ranorex 7.1.0.
As soon as it is fixed, you will find it within our release notes.
In the meantime I can only suggest using an older version of Ranorex Studio.

They do not give estimates on when bugs will be fixed or when features will be added. They have always said that it will be in the release notes whenever it DOES happen.
Shortcuts usually aren't...

Thank you for your question.
Currently, we do not know when this bug will be fixed. This depends on various factors. Nevertheless, all reported bugs and feature requests are documented in the release notes, with every new version release of Ranorex.

In the meantime I can only suggest downgrading to an older version of Ranorex.

Is this issue is fixed?

"Fixed issue where specific recording modules could not be loaded" I could see this line in Ranorex 7.1.1 Release notes. But I'm getting the same issue in Ranorex: 7.2.0, We are getting below error on building the solution.

"Unable to load recording from file 'C:\Workspaces\VRAD-V0026\Development\RisDev\RanorexTests\OMS2SmokeTests\OMS2SmokeTests\Recording Modules\Merge_PreOrder_Procedure.rxrec'. - C:\Workspaces\VRAD-V0026\Development\RisDev\RanorexTests\OMS2SmokeTests\OMS2SmokeTests\Recording Modules\Merge_PreOrder_Procedure.rxrec"

Though the file is available and in readable mode, the error is displayed. Please provide a solution for this. I have attached the screenshot of the error messages.
