Currently, we are setting up our test automation using Citrix virtual machines, we have installed the Ranorex Remote Agent in each VM. In Citrix VM the Ranorex Agent Display Name does not persists on subsequent logins.
Is there a way to setup the Remote Agent’s Display Name based of an environment variable, or a registry setting or may even programmatically on startup using some script..

Re: Remote Agent Display Name as a Variable
Hello AndyHanif,
Thank you for contacting us about where the Agent name is stored.
We have addressed this issue in support, but I will list the answer here for others who are curious about where this value is stored.
You can change the name of the Agent or the port the Agent uses in this file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ranorex\Agent\Data\config.toml".
Be sure to restart the Agent for changes to be used, and do not hesitate to contact support directly or in the forums if you have any questions or concerns.
