In a remote agent's history view pressing the BACK button to go back to the overview of agents takes up to 10 seconds until the overview is showed.
Desirably this process could be speeded up for UX purposes.

Thank you for reporting the issue. Unfortunately, I don't see this issue on my machine and VM's. Are you using the latest version of Ranorex (9.0.0)? If you are currently using an older version, please update Ranorex to the latest version.

Hi,
no unfortunately we are stuck on 8.2.1. We have some dependencies and are not able able to move to the newest version yet.
I also wanted to test the new version beside the current one, but it is not able to have two main versions of Ranorex installed (the old one gets uninstalled w/o notification).
In my opinion it should be left to the user if the old version is to be kept, especially when the new one is on a seperate partition of the disk.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to install two Ranorex versions side-by-side on the same machine. This would lead to even more problems. Would you mind installing Ranorex 9 on a virtual machine for testing purposes?
Is there an anti-virus software running on your machine that could cause the performance issue?

I think I figured out what may cause the problem. It is possible to reproduce the issue even in Ranorex 9.0.
The clue is to add more than 1 remote agent. In our case we have 6 agents.
With additional agents the time of the "back button behavior" is prolonged. Even though the response time in Ranorex 9.0 is quicker overall compared to 8.x, a delay can be observed with the addition of more agents.

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, I still cannot reproduce the issue by using six agents, but I talked to our QA department. They told me that it could have something to do with the size of the solution. May I ask if you also see the issue when loading a Ranorex Sample Solution?

That's correct, installing two different versions of Ranorex on the same machine at the same time it is not supported. I recommend installing the newest version on a virtual first and check if the issue persists in this version.
