What is the expected behavior of Remote Agent with regards to the .zip file that is sent to it from the host machine? Should the Remote Agent be deleting them after extracting it out?
For example, if you run Agent on a machine, and go to C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\Temp you will see lots of .zip files from previous Agent runs. Unless the files are manually deleted, it would appear that they will continue to grow unabated.
There doesn't appear to be any option within the Agent UI to delete these files.
Am I missing something?
Almost forgot: Using Ranorex 6.2.0, Remote Agent 1.0.55, on a VM running Win 7 32-bit
Remote Agent - .zip files not being removed?
Re: Remote Agent - .zip files not being removed?
The TEMP folder should be cleaned up automatically by Windows and should not get too big, so it shouldn't be a problem.
I believe that Ranorex intentionally doesn't delete the ZIP just in case you need to run the same test again, so it doesn't have to re-download the file, but I could be mistaken.
