Report does not count smartcases

Post by Elior Jarani » Sun May 14, 2017 7:57 am

Hi ,
I am using ranorex studio 7 and its very good but, when my tests finish to run i found that the report headline that tells me how much tests failed and how much tests succesed is not correct. for example:
I have 3 testcases and in every test case i have a lot of Smartcases and as i see the report tells me how much testscases failed or successed without counting the the smartcases.
Is it possible to change it so the report will tell me how much testcase and smartcases fails or success?

Hi,

I believe that the main purpose of smart folders is not to being count in reports. This is also why thensmart folders replaced nested test cases. Previously, nested test cases caused falsely increased total error count. In other words, there is no way to make smart folders to work the same way as nested test cases in 6.x and older versions.

Hello,

I am happy to tell you that we have provided a way so that test cases and smart folders are counted together again in the report.
You can find a detailed description in the following post: https://www.ranorex.com/forum/ranorex-7 ... tml#p45644

Kind regards,
