Hi,
Since upgrading to Version 6.0 I have noticed that reports won't open in Studio Report Viewer at the end of execution if you have a location set in Test Suite for Reports (currently set to another folder on computer). This was working fine before the upgrade. The report file was even appearing in the Reports folder in studio but it isn't now.
Is anyone else having this problem? Just means at the moment I have to manually find the report file when running tests from the test suite in studio.
Thanks,
Andrew.

Yes, this is reproducible on my system as well. Is this an installation problem?

This is a bug.
Ranorex team, please move this thread to the Bug Reports sub-forum.
In the future, if you believe that something with Ranorex is not working as intended, please open a thread in the Bug Reports forum in order to keep all issues in a single location. This makes it easier for the Ranorex team to find and address issues and keeps these kinds of things from cluttering the other forums.
Thanks!

Re: Report not opening in Studio viewer if Report Location set
Hi All,
I have already added an entry to our internal bug tracking system.
Currently, we do not know if and when this bug will get fixed. This depends on various factors. Nevertheless, all reported bugs and feature requests are documented in the Release Notes, with every new version release of Ranorex.
In order to overcome this issue, please try to delete the RanorexRecentReports.dat file.
For this, please navigate to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming and delete the previous mentioned file.
I hope this solves the problem.
Sincerely,
Matthias

Actually I'm not seeing the reports in studio when using Windows 10. I delete the dat file but it recreates itself each time.

Hi anc44,
Since this file is necessary for Ranorex to create the report. That means that it's the expected behavior that this file is regenerated.
In order to analyze your issue in more detail, we will need some more information. Please send an email to [email protected] with a short explanation of your problem.
I'm looking forward to your email.
Kind regards,
Matthias
