Report view in IE

Ranorex 4.01, --RanorexReport4.xsl, I am getting the following error after rename .rxlog to .xml then open with IE

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Instead of renaming to ".xml", just add ".html" after the ".rxlog" in the test suite properties. Then it will open as an html page in IE or FF or Chrome, etc.

So, if your original was

MyTestSuite.rxlog
MyTestSuite.rxlog.data

Your new name would be:
MyTestSuite.rxlog.html
MyTestSuite.rxlog.html.data
Shortcuts usually aren't...

Thank you so much for helping this out, it worked after i renamed to MyTestSuite.rxlog.html.data

If I changed the name in the test suite properties, report file gets overwrite w/.rxlog, I have to manually changed the name in directory to view in IE,

Hi,

Which Ranorex version are you using?
If you are using 4.0.1 please update to 4.0.2 since this issue is fixed in this version.
