Re: Firefox 22 Ranorex Add-on incompatible
Hi Markus, My testing has to be done on future versions of Firefox (Beta, Aurora, etc) however it's not possible due to the Ranorex add-on disabling itself. Is it possible to stop the Ranorex add-on disabling itself so I can take my chances on it working with an 'unsupported' verison of the browser?...

firefox 34
Hi all,
Firefox 34 is going to drop on 12/1 - Is it possible to get an update to the FF Ranorex automation extension in advance of the FF release?
Thanks,
Lisa

Re: Transfer License
Hi Markus and team... The Transfer directions are still in the User Guide so - just to be safe - Can you confirm that all I need to do is uninstall my Developer Premium license and that will make it instantly available to the machine I actually need the license on? We had a problem a few years back ...

Re: How to save screenshots with specific name?
Hi all,
I'd also like the ability to save screenshots with a specific name. For instance, we needed to create screenshots for 700+ URLs and I wanted to provide these in individual files named for the URL variable that was being passed.
Thanks!
Lisa

Re: Is the Chrome Browser terrible for automation purposes?
Hi, I had a lot of problems with Chrome 36 (unable to find consistently find buttons, timing issues) that weren't issues in Chrome35. Luckily these were resolved with Chrome 37. I also believe Chrome is generally faster than FF and IE to load URLs and process and I noticed that for Chrome I had to s...

Re: Report as pdf
Have you looked into custom report templates and printing to PDF? You could probably set up the template so that there was no "collapsing" of test elements (i.e. no "+" next to the test cases and iterations, but all lines are visible) and then just print the HTML report to PDF. Sadly it's not turni...

Re: Report as pdf
Hi all, I really appreciate all of the options and ideas but I would find it really useful to be able to generate the report file as a .pdf in Ranorex itself. Easily creating and distributing the reports in a format all recipients can read would have saved me a lot of time (e.g. I would have loved t...

Re: Testing install/uninstall of chrome extensions
Hi Markus, I'm installing / uninstalling chrome extensions (chrome 35) and was having trouble identifying the elements / containers I needed to use -- even after instrumenting Chrome as per instructions and starting chrome with the --force-renderer-accessibility parameter. After speaking with Jay ye...

Testing install/uninstall of chrome extensions
Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience automating the install / uninstall of extensions via chrome web store OR even more basic - verifying in chrome://extensions that a specific extensions (by name & version number) has been installed?
Thanks for any thoughts or pointers...
