It is a pity Ranorex has no support for it. Safari holds up to 20% browsers share and cannot be ingnored in multibrowser tests. I recommend my clients Selenium over Ranorex mainly for this reason, if multibrowser tests are important. HP UFT can run tests on Safari via remote. I guess they use Seleni...
