Hi SnehaR
Ranorex is more than just a framework
Is is a full out of the box solution for testing on Windows, web, iOs and Android platforms.
Have a look at the 'KeyPass' tutorial.
Good luck!

Re: Android 7 Devices and Windows Creators Update
Hi asdf We have the problem that Android 7 devices are found during instrumentation in the device window After final installation the device has no connection. With a bit luck we have connection to the device for a few seconds again. After that it turns to yellow (connecting) and finally to red (not...

Re: IE RAM usage
As mentioned above 'disabling the plugin' is to verify that Ranorex or the plugin is not the root cause.
This means test manually as much as possible and verify the RAM usage.
Good Luck

Android 7 Devices and Windows Creators Update
Hi
As far as I know ist the Android Service App 1.8.9 suitable above Ranorex 6.1.
Is there any known restriction on connecting an Android Device running Android 7 connected via USB
to a PC with Windows 10, 64 bit Creators Update (1703)
Thanks,
Speedboat

Re: Code update
Hi KGasimli In my project I have selected "Automatically update..." This happens normally within less than a second. Do you have a huge solution? Even then I would not understand that behavior. 1) I would try to re-install Ranorex uninstall clear 'Users /.. /AppData / Roaming / Ranorex Studio re-ins...

Re: IE RAM usage
Hi MB_wiko If you investigated the RAM usage without Ranorex, have you deactivated the Ranoex Plugin before? Surprisingly I remarked that the Plugin itself was responsible for an increasing memory usage on each page change for some special pages. 1. deactivate plugin 2. reboot machine good luck! Spe...

Webdriver GetChildLineageFrom Uid failed
Hi I got the following message displayed in the ranorex progress area: 'GetChildLineageFromUid failed on FlavorElement with flavour 'webdriver'. Object refrerence not set to an instance of an object. It occurs frequently with Firefox browser - however the test continues. Any idea? Generally: Firefox...

Selenium Endpoint - Cannot perform a local keyboard action
Hi I installed Selenium Standalone Driver with local Endpoint as 'WebDriver' Connection works fine. Ranorex tries to click on a text item Test Case fails and report says: "Cannot perform a local keyboard action on a mobile element" I checked that the Endpoint is really a WebDriver. Any Idea why Rano...

Re: Recommended VM system specs to use as RunTime
Hi tvu The minimum hardware requirements needed to run Ranorex successfully are pretty low. Ranorex does not require lot of system resources - which is good. In our case we have set up th VM's to have sufficient memory to host the OS, SUT and Ranorex and still have at least 1GB not used memory. If y...

Re: Recommended VM system specs to use as RunTime
Hi tvu We used Hyper-V sccessfully (on Windows 10 / 64 bit). You could install the visual studio emulator for android on your local machine, or off course a real device. From your VM you are able to use the emulator or device by network. Your machine has to be in the same wifi and ranorex on VM requ...

Re: Does ranorex support iframes
Hi In general I would say yes - may depend also from your browser and the Ranorex Browser extension. For a first impression use Spy! Anyway, please follow the guidelines before you post: http://www.ranorex.com/forum/please-read-before-posting-t871.html Escpecially for web: OS, browser and version in...
