Ripping out testcasename and pass/fail from reports
Hello all, I noticed a few threads in the past asking similar questions...however I'm still a bit lost on how to do something like this. Basically, I want to ask if it is possible to strip everything else from these Ranorex .rxlog report files and just have it contain: - Test case name - Result I am...

Minimizing Virtual Machine while Ranorex tests are running
Hello all, I have been searching through threads and blogs but have not been able to find a definitive answer. At this point, I have a feeling that what I am trying to propose/do is not possible but I think I'll pose this question to see if I get any suggestions or further thoughts on the topic. Mac...

Ranorex test .rxtst requires .exe file
Hello all, I have a quick question about building tests via Ranorex. I have test suites that I'd like to run; these are the .rxtst files. These .rxtst files are stored in a root folder. The .exe files that the .rxtst requires when it's run is stored in the root/bin/debut folder. I need to manually c...

Java SWT warning
Hello all,
I'm back with another quick question! On all of my tests, I get this particular warning in the Ranorex report.
The image is attached to this post; I should've probably read how to put images directly here - sorry for this.
Any clarification would be appreciated - thanks!

Re: How to: Relativize paths of files that a test needs to use
Hello, Thanks for the response! I had a feeling that the method I used isn't the most optimum by far. I'll go and make adjustments to my tests by typing out the full path in the file chooser. Perhaps I can do some additional exploration and see if it's possible to do something fancy with this sugges...

How to: Relativize paths of files that a test needs to use
Hello all, I'm back with another question! :) I understand that I'm using the key-phrase "relative paths" in my subject line but I'm fairly certain my question is slightly different from what I can find (w.r.t. past posts on this forum on the topic). Do correct me and possibly point me in the right ...

Re: beginner's question
Hello all, Thanks for your replies! I actually haven't been able to access the forums because I forgot my password thus I didn't reply to the thread. (Just recovered it today) I thank you all for your suggestions and solutions. I ended up employing the 'Delay' feature. I will however, be looking int...
