Re: TestExecMonitor hs stopped working
I checked all the logs and there are no Excel connector exceptions. I don't use Excel connectors so not surprised on my side. There aren't any errors or exceptions in the logs even close to the time of the error I am seeing either. I checked the updates on the machine and as you can see the last two...

Re: TestExecMonitor hs stopped working
I am on Windows Server 2016 Standard, and it started happening a couple weeks ago, and of course its intermittent so it won't happen and then it will. It happened with Ranorex 9.2.1 and 9.3.0 We run them on multiple machines, it wasn't happening on one and now its happening on both. Both machines ar...

TestExecMonitor hs stopped working
I am seeing a problem running my tests in a nightly run. We have a process that logins into a vm and executes our test suite through the command line. I frequently get a popup saying the the TestExecMonitor has stop working. Its not every test, and its not the same tests every night. When I login an...

Re: Open Browser action fails when used with Clear Cache
I am having the exact same issue now. Was a resolution found? Ranorex 8.3.1 I am trying to find a way to execute tests without needing to run Ranorex as admin. I cannot give the access to everyone to be able to do run Ranorex as admin. If everyone runs as admin I do not have a problem. I have all th...

Error executing test on VM version 8.0
I am trying to execute a test on VM using Ranorex 8.0, and I am getting an error I have never seen before, has anyone seen this or have an idea what it can be? Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Ranorex.Bootstrapper, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutra...

dll's across multiple solutions
I think I once knew this answer but I cannot find it anywhere.
If you have multiple solutions can you use dll's from one solution to another? I want to say no, but like I said I can't find it anywhere and something in my brain says no.
EX: Solution 1 has a dll, can I use that dll in Solution 2

Re: Cannot find some Java Objects
How do you want me to send this to you?
My fear is that none of it will work, not that parts of it won't work.
Matt

Re: Cannot find some Java Objects
How about you just change it back
So what are you asking for? Our entire application? I am not sure that is feasible. Even if I could send it to you there are large parts you will not be able to sue because you will not be able to reach the server.

Cannot find some Java Objects
We have Java/Swing app, and on the login screen when the Password Hint button is clicked a new Java Form opens and prior to Ranorex 5.x all the objects on that Form can be found and used. Now only the Form is recognized, and nothing inside of it. Our code is trying to interact with it when run, the ...

Re: Cannot connect iOS device that I could before
We are using Ranorex 4.1.4, and I don't think anything has changed with the network, I will get with the infrastructure people here to verify.

Re: Data Source error
I spoke too soon krstcs, it helped but did not fix everything.
We are too far down the path to switch to MS SQL Server. So for now I will pick up my torch and pitchfork and head back to admin castle and not leave till they give me something other than 365.
Thanks again.
