Lineage Glue Rule 'win32_root_windows' exception
Hi there, I updated Ranorex from 10.5 to 11.0.0. Since the update I receive: LineageGlueRule 'win32_root_windows' caused FileNotFoundException on Execute. Could not load file or assembly 'UIAComWrapper, Version=1.10.14, When I run the test suite on a remote machine. That causes all the tests to fail...

Image validation - capturing the screenshot fails
Hi there, Regarding image-based validation, I want to validate a certain area of the AUT. I can create the screenshot for the validation. But the screenshot is completely black during the recognition. While in the AUT it is not black at all. I add a screenshot for further explanation. Did someone co...

Re: Where to find the CSV export (version 10.4)
Hi Ivan, yes, I meant the directory. Sorry if that was not clear enough. I am unsure if the CSV was not created or I am not able to find it's location storage. In the documentation I saw the rxzlog file stated but I couldn't find it there. If someone has some sample or simple screenshot to share, th...

Where to find the CSV export (version 10.4)
Hi there, I am trying to find the CSV which are available since version 10.4. I've enabled the CSV Export/ all columns for the test suite. However, after the execution I am not able to find any csv file in the .rxzlog file or in the report section in general. It feels I am missing something. Any hin...

Mouse click action in modal window does not work on a Virtual Machine
Hi all, hope you could give me a hint. I am currently automating some modal dialogs which work fine, besides for one specific dialog form. I use my local computer (Win 10) for the creation and a Virtual Machine (Win 10) for test execution. The matter is, that the dialog should be closed by the use o...

Re: "Outside of the visible desktop" error; but it's not.
Hi McTurtle,
thanks for your comment. I tried unfortunately without success. But somehow the update to Ranorex 7.0.1 fixed my issue.
Maybe due to the improved WPF recognition?! But anyway, thx for your support, I really appreciate it.
Best,
Andrea

Re: "Outside of the visible desktop" error; but it's not.
Hi McTurtle,
Thanks for your input.
It is not a webpage, it is a .net client application. I tried to use Invoke Action "Press()" and "Focus()" but with no success. Pls find attached the required report

Re: Log Message only if previous action fails
Hi qwertzu, thanks for your reply, but thats not exactly what I am looking. I use the 3 steps for several iterations, in some iteration the pop up window appear in others not. Re: Log Message only if previous action fails
OK, I think I need to be more clear The testcase I am refering to is sort of the following action 1: open file action 2: confirm pop up window [since the appearing of the window is non-deterministic I use continue on fail for this action) action 3: log message: pop up window Now, if possible I would...

Re: "Outside of the visible desktop" error; but it's not.
Hi, I noticed a sort of this for my automation as well. If execute as recording (pressing several buttons) everything is green. But when it is executed the buttons cannot be found. I get always this message inside the report: Failed to move to location 'Center' within element '{Button:OK}'. The poin...

Log Message only if previous action fails
Hi!
I want to add a 'Log Message' action into the module which should report the result of the previous action. Preferably only apply if the previous action fails. How would I do this?
Best,
Andrea

How to Hide test run dialogbox when run a recording
Hi,
I know there is a setting to turn on/off the dialogbox for the test stuite, but is this also possible for running only a recording?
Best,
Andrea
