Unfortunate,
Setting the key manually did not solve the problem either.

Re: Firefox plugin not recognized by Ranorex studio?
Hi Pavlev, I'm awaiting reaction to my support ticket. I'm bound to the restrictions of the company. I'm not able to 'just' re-install software. And i'm getting pretty frustrated about the problem i have with Ranorex. If this ticket is not taken up before end of this week, I'll probably advise my cl...

Re: Firefox plugin not recognized by Ranorex studio?
Hi, I got the following in the pipelist: RanorexIpcClient_6164 1 -1 Rx8CommonControls_Bridge32_S1 1 -1 Rx8Ranorex_Chrome_Interface_S1 2 -1 No other Ranorex related (visible) pipe's in my list. The fact that Pavlev also has the 'Trident' inside, makes me think that there is also something wrong with ...

Re: Firefox plugin not recognized by Ranorex studio?
Good morning all. Thanks for your answer. I'll try to answer in a structural manner on what you have suggested: - I removed the ranorex extension from FF - closed FF - Restarted FF - checked that extension was removed (was OK) - did all your re-installation stuff - Although CMD-line result was as ex...

Re: Firefox plugin not recognized by Ranorex studio?
Addition: i manually installed the ranorex plugin (1.0.40) for Firefox now. I did it by dragging the extension from the Ranorex directory into Firefox. It installed succesfully, but does not make a difference. Also strange is if i click the Ranorex logo in the toolbar, the Browserconsole opens and s...

Re: Firefox plugin not recognized by Ranorex studio?
Episode nr. 2 of the saga.... Reinstallation was done today. I took the opportunity to install version 8.0.0 now. If i look at the instrumentation wizard screen, it does appear to not recognize Firefox (see screenshot) What i had before is that the spy recognised DOM in IE is apparently disappeared ...

Re: Firefox plugin not recognized by Ranorex studio?
I'll keep you posted. I requested a re-install.
That will probably something for the first half of next week. Thanks for your help anyway!
Have a nice weekend!

Re: Firefox plugin not recognized by Ranorex studio?
Hi,
I tried it with the standalone Spy as well. No result
I'm probably not allowed to run any application as admin. (I'll have to check)
I find it strange though that for Chrome or IE this does not pose a problem (admin role not needed in that case)
Snapshot is included.

Re: Firefox plugin not recognized by Ranorex studio?
Hi,
I asked a bit of information on the 'tuned' version. Apparently it's the ESR version and not 'tuned' at that point.
I suppose that ESR version is supported?
The Ranorex FF Plugin is enabled (see screenshot)

Re: How to execute Javascript via code
Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. I checked all packages and they are available on my computer. I recently updated my PC to Ranorex version 7.2 (which took me almost two weeks to get the necessary rights to do it). That's why I wrote that i don't have access to install stuff. (it just takes ages and ...

Hi, I'm currently testing a web application in which there is an impossibility to test a certain functionality by just 'clicking' it. Therefor, the solution that can help is to execute the JS behind the button. Now I'm struggling to have the JS executed. When i first tried with: webdocument webDoc =...

Re: How to get FlavorElement.Name property?
HI, I struggled just as you to get the 'Name' property from Flavorelement. I got there using this: var CurText = ((Ranorex.Plugin.MsaaFlavorElement)cell.Element.FlavorElement).Name; I think you could use a string also. Hope this helps to get a more 'practical' solution to your problem. Best regards,...
