Re: How to structure a solution for a huge company
Hello, thank you for quick answer. However, it doesn help me much. Unanticipated alert (for example) will still block Ranorex from continuing in test suite. And no matter how small the suite is, that alert will still block everything else . AUT has to be brought back to some default screen. And the ...

Re: How to structure a solution for a huge company
Hello, this solution seems to be very similar to ours. I would like to ask you for advice. It is not about git, but it is related to big solution and many test cases. You have many test cases, you are testing many screens. How did you solve test continuance problem, when some test fails on some part...

Re: Test continuance
Hello Odklizeci,
thank you for your quick answer, it looks promising, I will try it.
Yes, I agree, test design is not good (structure and data are originally from schooling material, where data dependance is required). We will have to redo it.
Regards,
Jan

Test continuance
Hello fellow testers, I would like to ask you for help with test continuance. What I mean by that? This: In a test suite project, there are many test cases with test recordings. If one test fails, Ranorex can continue further. But the problem is this: The AUT remains open at some detail screen, wher...

Re: Test case vs recording
Hello,
thank you for quick answer.
Well, it is not what I expected given the definition of Test case.
My recordings are short, that is why I thought, they might be test cases too. It would be better for report statistic too.
I will see, it is probably not that crucial.
Thanks
M.J.

Test case vs recording
Hello testers, I am new to testing, so I did some reading and I would like ask some experienced testers about this problem I have about how to structure test suite. Given that test case is step by step procedure how to test, should every recording be right under test case (in test suite)? The struct...
