Windows Server 2019 for License manager
Hello,
would the Ranorex License Manager v. 10.0.0 work without problems on a Windows Server 2019 Virtual Machine?
For current compatibility issues with some of our under test applications, we cannot upgrade Ranorex.
Thanks

Re: Problem to identify web objects
Hey odklizec, we reproduced our problem with the current Ranorex version 10.1.4. Unfortunately the problem still exists: objects below a shadow dom root with mode= closed are not recognized . Because of security issues we are not allowed to make you snapshots available of our test environment and ap...

Problem to identify web objects
Hallo, we have a problem with recognizing some objects in our main web application. This means in detail that a warning or info window can not be identified - neither via Xpath nor as an image. Necessary object infos can't get idnetified by the Tracking recorder. In the Browser Development tools (F1...

Re: QtWindow not recognizable with Ranorex V10
Hi, our Application uses Qt-Version 4.3, which did not change throughout the update from Ranorex Version 9.3.1 to 10.0.0. For security reasons it is not possible to post a Snapshot of our Application. We have tried the following approaches: - Ranorex Version 10.1.1 -> Technology Limitation within Qt...

QtWindow not recognizable with Ranorex V10
Hello,
we have a new challenge using Ranorex V10. As you can see in the attached screenshot, Ranorex can't identify QtWindow. Do you have any suggestion for us? Thanks
Best Regards,

Re: Missing the Ranorex Automation AddOn in the Chrome Web Store
Can you say, if the Chrome extension ID will stay the same (egdlgaljianpgdlmfijpphbadibfncdm)?
Would be really helpful.
if not, do you already know the new ID?

Re: Missing the Ranorex Automation AddOn in the Chrome Web Store
Hello,
is there a justified hope that the extension is available soon again?
It really impedes our daily test processes.

Re: Missing the Ranorex Automation AddOn in the Chrome Web Store
Hello, as far as I know, the Ranorex instrumentation changes the Registry entries for the local machine. That's not what we want/need - we control the Chrome policies via GPO and in the User Registry. Means, if the add-on is not on the User forcelist, we manually install the Chrome Extension (and th...

Missing the Ranorex Automation AddOn in the Chrome Web Store
Hallo, since yesterdas we can't find the Ranorex Automation Extension in the Chrome Web Store anymore. We only find the Ranorex Selocity Extension. Re: Manual remote execution - What about IE addon?
Yes, thank you. But it's not to expect that Ranorex will be part of the Standard Image. We have the Information that the using of the IE for our customer and our tests will end in about 2 months. So things will be better soon - and we can give give that solution "execution without installation" then...

Re: Manual remote execution - What about IE addon?
Hello Pavel, thank you for the quick response. Yes we see, that there are good reasons for installing the Ranorex Studio, but in this case we have special conditions. We work on so called provisioning machines, what means: the Servers are new installed with every reboot (typically once the night). T...

Manual remote execution - What about IE addon?
If we want to execute Ranorex scripts without Ranorex Studio Installation, we would copy the newest builds of our scripts and the needed Runtime-Files onto the execution machine. For several Ranorex Web Tests the IE is used, so the IE Ranorex Add-On is necessary. Normally the add-on for the IE would...
