Re: Renaming recordings in Rx Studio doesn't always update the .rxrec file correctly
It seems this bug has not been resolved yet, just changed a bunch of recording names and now my project won't build...

Re: Open instrumented IPA through pipeline to be visible in Ranorex Service App
Pretty sure the replies above are nonsense. there is no solution for this yet. You still need to start an instrumented app manually on iOS in order for the service app to use them...Mary98 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 09, 2021 5:44 amwhatsapp modWhere is the solution exactly? Sorry, but i didn't find a post here with the solution.

Re: Instrumented iOS app crashes when launching
Hello! We have been using the instrumentation wizard for some time now to install our iOS apps to multiple devices. Recently, every device will have the app crash upon launching, both when launching the app by tapping the icon from the iOS home screen, as well as when trying to launch it from the R...

Re: Open instrumented IPA through pipeline to be visible in Ranorex Service App
Still no progress here, I have not found a way yet to start and/or stop an iOS app through a pipeline so that the Service App can interact with it. If I ever do I will make sure to post my solution here.

Re: is it possible to Launch an iOS app using command line?
I was just hoping some other Ranorex user has faced the same problem (I can't imagine we're the only company trying to set up continuous integration with Ranorex and iOS) and has a workaround.

is it possible to Launch an iOS app using command line?
As mentioned in the user guide, after instrumenting and deploying the iOS app for the first time, you have to start the app manually once! Otherwise it will not be visible within the Ranorex Service App. This is fine when testing something during the day and with the device connected to your compute...

Re: Open instrumented IPA through pipeline to be visible in Ranorex Service App
have you finished your work? because which pipeline you are trying to develop it seems very interesting and I would like to use it at once. I have not, you are the only reply so far. As mentioned, I do have the android pipeline ready and the iOS partially but am still unable to open an app from the...

Open instrumented IPA through pipeline to be visible in Ranorex Service App
As part of our continuous integration I've set up pipeline in Azure DevOps in order to test our apps. For Android I've set up a pipeline where the Ranorex Service App gets installed on the target phone (real device connected to the pipeline agent(laptop)) followed by the instrumented app (Instrument...

Re: Avoid android package installer notifications
Hi Pavel,
Thanks for your reply, yes I want to automate the complete installation proces. The issue is that I can't find the controls using Ranorex Spy, even after adjusting my settings as you suggested.

Avoid android package installer notifications
When I install an APK using either the Instrumentation Wizard or the Deploy Android app step in a script I face the issue of a confirmation message served by the Package installer. Does anyone know how to either avoid these messages or process them in such a way that the application gets installed? ...

Re: Different results between local and CI run
... I assume that there is different OS or something else different on that machine? Turns out, there was  I installed Ranorex studio on the agent and ran the script there too. Failed.... After this comment I looked further into possible differences and it turned out to be so simple... The la...

Different results between local and CI run
I am relatively new so forgive me if this is not the correct place to ask this question. I've tried searching the forum for a similar problem but could not (easily) find it. I am testing a web based application and sometimes when the browser is closed it will throw a dialog to warn the visitor they ...
