Ranorex 8 has the ability to use: Simplified test deployment
Simplified test deployment: Ranorex tests can be generated as portable packages, so there is no Ranorex Runtime installation required.
As we test on multiple OS versions this really appeals to me. It's a bit of hassle every time we upgrade to re-snapshot about 20 different VM's with the updated ranorex install.
Anyone actually used this yet or worked out how to enable it? I can't seem to find any steps or options in the docs.
I also attempted to log a support question yesterday morning asking the same but not had a response back as yet.
