Spy slowness in Ranorex 5.4.5
Is anyone noticing increase slowness using Spy in Ranorex 5.4.5? It seems to take longer for Spy to open when I try to edit a repository item. Also, just searching and refreshing seems to take a lot longer too. I tried with a USB and WiFi connection.

When i read this thread last week i hadn't experienced anything related to your issues. But today after coming to work and working a bit on the automation solution i noticed that i get a lag when i close the Spy which actually freezes up whole Ranorex for a few seconds. This is new to me as well after installing 5.4.5.

we are aware that Spy is performing quite complex tasks and unfortunately it is not always obvious to the user, why it takes some time. However, in case the performance has dropped in a newer Ranorex version, we would like to investigate on that.
Did you upgrade anything else along with Ranorex? Has the application-under-test changed? Could you provide us with a Ranorex snapshot?
