Hi, Is it possible to do automated code based testing on Maps(ie.maps which can ZoomIn and ZoomOut, like Google Maps) and validating them??
If so, how can we do it? We can only validate them as an image or any other procedure there?
Please help me out.
Thanks.

Re: Testing on Maps
Hi,
Basically Ranorex is able to track and validate applications like google maps, but it depends on what you want to test.
Which technology are you using to implement your application?
I recommend to download the Free Trail version of Ranorex in order to check if it meets your requirements.

Bernhard

Re: Testing on Maps
Thanks for your reply. I am using C#.
In the application am testing, can point out the positions of the clients, with the help of their IP addresses, in the map. That Map can be Zoom in(to pin point the address) and Zoom out and can point out the IP address in that Map.
My job is to validate whether the Map is pointing to correct address with the given IP.
Thanks.
