Just tried with loginDataConnector.StoreData(_columnColl, _rowColl) in 5.4
I got an exception state that
"The ExcelDataConnector does not support write access"
This small feature shouldn't take this long, right? :(

Well, I used EPPlus which can help to accomplish my task easily. But still I don't understand why Ranorex take so long time to add this small feature.

Well, in my opinion, none feature is small enough and there are always much more important things todo ;) Not to mention this particular feature request is not critical and way beyond Ranorex primary area of focus. Writing to excel can by accomplished by various ways, many of them already discussed here. Thanks to Ranorex fully featured .Net support, it's relative easy to extend our tests with many not yet implemented features. We just need to be patient and realistic about our requests. Ranorex development is like any other SW development, which means that not all feature requests will be implemented and some things may take longer to implement than others.
