Hi All,
I started work on the Ranorex and first thing I tried was to record several sequences on my application (Desktop application by the way).
now the question. does Ranorex consider times when recording? I mean, if the application booted in 10 seconds when I recorded it, but 25 seconds on second time I ran it, will it fail? (it's actually failed but I just want to make sure that's the reason).
can I cancel it or increase\decrease the times with C# code?
Thanks.
Yaniv

Re: Times when recording test
Hi,
Such situations can be handled by increasing the Search Timeout (property) of the specific repository item. Just right click on the item and select Properties to open the properties tab of the item.
Increasing the timeout doesn't automatically mean that the execution will take longer, Ranorex proceeds with the next action as soon as the element can be found. The timeout defines how long Ranorex should keep searching for an element to exist.

Markus
