Unable to Instrument APK file

Hello, We are evaluating Ranorex for one of our customer application, and need to provide the evaluation result to my manager by end of next week. However, Ranorex is throwing error while instrumenting the file. Please help. I have tried all the details provided in user manual for instrumentation. Please let me know in case if you need apk file for debug purpose\

Hi,

Which error is thrown when you instrument it? Please send us the detailed error message.
Which Android is used on the devices?
It will help if you can send us the apk file, this will help us to analyze the issue faster.

Hi Markus

We could able to instrument manually now. however we are facing other issues.

1. My application is running on emulator. this is for demo purpose to one of our client, who would like to migrate all his test cases with Ranorex solution
2. I deployed the instrumented file and it shows properly in emulator with Ranorex service app.

3. I started application using start button of Record screen (with Mobile recording)

4. I can record, however actions are not recorded by Ranorex and show. when I stop recording it only shows "Run Mobile App" action.

Please note that, in case I try to resume recording Ranorex displays "Only fully connected devices with a running app will show up". start button will not be enabled even after selecting the devices

This is urgent, your help is appreciated
