Unable to open html report in Chrome

I have been unable to find anything online to help me through this, so I am hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction on here.

I need to generate a report in .html format so that I can send a couple of example copies out to the business and project team.
I have changed the file extension via Properties>Reports and changed .rxlog to .html.

I can still open in Ranorex, as expected, and I can open in Firefox.

I cannot get it to open in Chrome though, and this is our default browser in most cases.

As you can see, all the data is in the same folder, and this is where I am trying to open it from

Hi,

This is a Chrome security thing. You just need to start Chrome with --allow-file-access-from-files option. Just make sure Chrome is completely terminated first (via Task Manager).
