Using existing Git repository without cloning another.

Post by tejas.deshpande » Wed May 25, 2016 7:24 am

Using the "Checkout" option in Source Control clones the existing repository at the required location.

I am currently using a rather large repository which I would not like to clone again.

Is there a way to use the existing repository clone that I already use to commit code without cloning another?

Found the solution.

Turns out you have to install Git with the following setting.

Sorry for the question.
Hope this helps someone else.
